Producer/Managing Director

Dietmar Güntsche Dietmar Güntsche, born 1968 in Berlin, joined Bioskop-Film GmbH as a producer in 1996. Since 2000, he has been running Neue Bioskop Film GmbH as second managing director together with Eberhard Junkersdorf. In 2001, Dietmar Güntsche additionally became one of the company’s shareholders. When Eberhard Junkersdorf left the company in 2007, Dietmar Güntsche took over Neue Bioskop Film as the company’s sole managing director. With the foundation of Neue Bioskop Television GmbH in 2008, he became managing director of this partner company as well.

Dietmar Güntsche has extensive knowledge in German and international film production. Since the start of his career in 1987 he gathered wide experience in many different production-related positions, counting more than 25 national and international cinema and TV movies, among them examples like Oliver Stone’s “The Doors”, John Schlesinger’s “The Innocent”, Loriot’s “Pappa Ante Portas”.

Dietmar Güntsche studied at Munich’s HFF &ndash University of Television and Film (course of study specializing in the subject of „film production and media economy“ from 1992 to 1996). His international experience could be extended in Los Angeles where Dietmar Güntsche completed various apprenticeships in companies like New Line Pictures and MPCA (Motion Picture Corporation of America). His producer credits for Neue Bioskop count many successful and award-winning feature films: “alaska.de” was honoured with one Bavarian and two German Film Awards in 2001. “Der alte Affe Angst” took part in the official Berlinale competition in 2003 and won a Bavarian Film Award. In 2005 and 2006 he was responsible for the production of “Wo ist Fred?” (“Where is Fred?”) with Til Schweiger and for the award-winning Uschi-Obermaier-picture “Das wilde Leben” (“Eight Miles High”), followed by “Phantomschmerz” (“Phantom Pain”) in 2007 and “Der grosse Kater” (2008) which was recently honoured with the Bavarian Producer’s Award.

Producer

Wolfgang Behr Wolfgang Behr was born 1974 in Bamberg. His professional relations to Neue Bioskop Film reach back to the year 2005 and the development of various film projects as a freelance producer, including various TV formats and financial consulting for the feature film “Das wilde Leben” (“Eight Miles High”). When Eberhard Junkersdorf decided to leave the company in 2007, Wolfgang Behr became one of the company’s new shareholders and, since then, fills a permanent producer’s position as well. Together with his partner Dietmar Güntsche, acting CEO and also shareholder, Wolfgang now leads production business at Neue Bioskop Film Produktions & Vertriebs GmbH. Wolfgang Behr is also a shareholder of Neue Bioskop Television GmbH, founded in 2008.

Wolfgang Behr’s education and experience reach far beyond German borders. He started his career in film business at CLT-UFA. After various positions in production and marketing at international players like Ogilvy & Mather and Twentieth Century Fox he became Manager of Business Affairs at Tandem Communications Munich in 2001.

Wolfgang Behr studied business administration at Otto-Friedrich Universität Bamberg, Tulane University New Orleans and University of California Santa Barbara. He finished his studies with a “Master of Science in Marketing” at the Graduate School of Business Administration Zürich / State University New York. To round off his international education, Wolfgang Behr completed the MEDIA MEGA program, supported by the European Union, in 2005/2006 with a “Master of Audiovisual Management” degree. He is currently participating in the renowned INSIDE PICTURES Programme of the National Film and Television School England, including various work modules in London and Los Angeles.

Line Producer

Philip Evenkamp Philip Evenkamp, born 1973 in Essen. His career in film business starts in 1994. While studying film production and media economy at Munich’s HFF &ndash University of Television and Film (1996 - 2000) he started his first employment at Fanes Film GmbH as Norbert Preuss’ personal assistant in 1997.

After working as a production manager for the film “Der Voyeur”, Fanes Film took him on as their permanently employed line producer in 1999. His credits at Fanes Film GmbH include movies like “The Calling“, “Bin ich schön?” (“Am I Beautiful?”), “Das Experiment” (“The Experiment”), “Nackt” (“Naked”), “Schatten der Zeit” (“Shadows Of Time”), “Vom Suchen und Finden der Liebe” (“About The Looking For And The Finding Of Love”) and “Die Bluthochzeit” (“The Wedding Party”).

In 2005, Philip Evenkamp left Fanes Film to join Neue Bioskop. As line producer and production executive he has been in charge of numerous feature films as well as TV movies, including titles like “Enigma” by Volker Schlöndorff, the award-winning biopic “Das wilde Leben” (“Eight Miles High”) and - most recently - the literature adaptation “Der grosse Kater”.

Accounting

Christine Renn Christine Renn works as Certified Management Accountant for the companies Bioskop Film and Neue Bioskop Film since 1990.

She is also responsible for the accounting of many of Bioskop’s film projects and for a few of Eberhard Junkersdorf’s animation movies. As Christine has been loyal to the company for two decades, the list of her accounting credits is long and include films like “The Michael Nyman Songbook”, the animated feature films “Tobias Totz”, “Till Eulenspiegel” (“Jester Till”) and “Hilfe! Ich bin ein Fisch” (“Help! I’m a Fish”) as well as the TV-movie “Enigma”, the cinema production “Das wilde Leben” (“Eight Miles High“) and recently “Der grosse Kater”, to just name a few.

Personal Assistant to the Management

Anne Rossouw Anne Rossouw has been loyal to the company since many years. She was born in Munich 1975. In 1996 she graduated secondary school with Abitur (A-Levels equivalent) and started an internship at Neue Bioskop Film. After a perennial team assistance period she became Eberhard Junkersdorf’s secretary and worked as his personal assistant for several years. In 2007 she was taken on by the new management and hence supports Dietmar Güntsche as his personal assistant.

Besides, Anne also takes care of project coordination for Neue Bioskop’s feature films. As her history within the company reaches back a full decade, her work involves a long list of titles like “Peanuts!”, Eberhard Junkersdorf’s animated feature film “The Fearless Four”, the award-winning German cinema productions “alaska.de” and “Der alte Affe Angst” (“Angst”), Volker Schlöndorff’s TV movie “Enigma”, the Uschi-Obermaier-biopic “Das wilde Leben” (“Eight Miles High”) and lately “Der grosse Kater”, a literature adaptation of the bestselling novel by Swiss author Thomas Hürlimann.

Script Consultant

Ulrike Janovsky Ulrike Janovsky was born 1985 in Gera. After stopovers in Bamberg and Berlin, she completed her Master Degree (passed with distinction) at Munich’s Ludwig-Maximilians-University LMU in the subjects New German Literature, Dramatics and German Linguistics in summer 2010.

Filmmaking became the main focus of her studies at a very early stage, clearly showing in her decision to make director Béla Tarr the subject of her dissertation for the Master Degree. Since August 2010, Ulrike has been working as script consultant for the development department of Neue Bioskop.
